In we can’t believe this didn’t happen sooner news, Dell has halted production of it’s PDA line, Axim. PDA usage has fallen drastically with the use of Smart Phones on the rise. Maybe Dell can concentrate on improving it’s customer service or something useful with the extra time they will have now that they are no longer making the Axim. Pretty sure that other PDA makers will start to discontinue their PDA lines as well. With the iPhone looming, BlackBerry’s becoming mainstream, and a Treo or Windows Mobile device available from every major US cell carrier out there, the era of the PDA has gone the way of the Do-Do.
