As big as an Apple fan that I am, I’ve never been to a new store opening. The buzz of the crowd, the anticipation, the free T-Shirt for the first 1,000 people, and the grand prize of a $2500 MacBook package are tempting reasons to hit this one up.
It’s about 2 hours south of Tampa in Estero, Florida. The store is at Coconut Point, and is planning this Saturday at 10am to open it’s doors for the first time. I’ve never driven south in Florida, and it would make for a fun trip. It’s not like I do anything on the weekends anyway (speaking of which I should get a 2nd job to keep myself busy on weekends).
What do you think? Is there anything else to do in that area and is anyone else going? Is it worth the drive?
