Forget checking the PO Box, this does it for you. Similiar to PayTrust‘s online bill pay service, your mail is sent to an address they give you, scanned in as a PDF and sent via email to you.
Depending on how much mail you get, this could be quite an effective method of receiving your mail. I wouldn’t have packages sent there though, although they do offer package forwarding at an additional cost.
The plans start at $9.95/month with 35 items scanned in B&W. The more items, the larger the cost. I currently pay $20/month for my PO Box, yet it is quite a ways from where I typically am. With the savings in gas, I still don’t see how this service is anything more then a convenience at a premium
