Google logo: Edvard Munch

This has got to be one of the coolest Google logo’s I’ve ever seen. Clicking on it takes you to a search of Edvard Munch, a famous painter born this day in 1983. He later died on January 23, 1944.

The Scream (1893; originally called Despair), Munch’s best-known painting, is one of the pieces in a series titled The Frieze of Life, in which Munch explored the themes of life, love, fear, death, and melancholy.
