Gizmodo reported on a Casino opening up an ePoker room, calling it the wave of the future of poker. A digital table with everyone having a touch screen and a giant screen in the middle of the table.
The funny part about this story; I’ve been playing on this exact same table setup (Poker Pro Tables) for as long as I’ve been going to the Seminole Hard Rock Casino. These aren’t new. Sure the casino setup a whole room full of them, but the Hard Rock has enough to cover the needs of the low buy-in poker tournament players ($40, $60 and $80).
I just find it funny when someone reports something as completely brand new and revolutionary, when it’s been around for years.
BTW, Full Tilt Poker is still around (along with many others) and the rake is much less online than it ever will be in a casino.
