Turn loose change into music

Coinstar the coin counting company has now partnered up with iTunes to offer iTunes gift certificates for your change. The best part is that there’s no coin-counting fee when (normally 8.9% processing fee) you get an iTunes gift card. Coinstar says that activated gift cards are dispensed on the spot from the Coinstar machine and can be used right away.

Now this is pretty sweet. I’ve seen that they have partnered with Amazon as well, but I make purchases on iTunes more frequently than Amazon. Looks like they are also partnered with Starbucks, Hollywood video, Borders, and Pier 1. I’m going to clean out my change and buy a few tracks tonight.
