WordPress 2.1 "Ella" Released

The other day I installed the RC1 of blogging software WordPress 2.1. Last night it came out in it’s full form for download over at WordPress.org.

Make sure to backup your database before you install and deactivate your plugins. Doesn’t seem to be much of a change between the RC1, but you can read all of the new features here, and 10 Things you should know about WordPress 2.1.

I like that they moved the comments link to the main menu bar. Very convenient.
