Yes the new 2nd Generation iPod shuffle is now shipping, and should be on shelves by Friday, but you can get one of the first generation ones for only $29. Simply check the Apple Special Deals section on the Apple Store.
I’ve had one of these from the day they came out, and it is still a great iPod and even better flash drive (thumb drive). These make a great Christmas present. They don’t qualify for free shipping (unless you order 2), but that only adds $4 to the price.
