With my T-Mobile Sidekick II, I have a plan with unlimited text messages (SMS); however, I also have a RAZR on a second number, and the unlimited text messages don’t carry over to that.
I wanted to switch my sim cards, so that my primary number would be on the RAZR and I could use my bluetooth earpiece for most of my calls.
When I switched it and told everyone to text message me on my newer number, there were TONS of people using the old. I was getting charged for each one.
I called up T-Mobile and told them I wanted text messages turned off on that line. They said it wasn’t possible. I began to climb up the customer service management, to no avail.
Well this story comes out today, that T-Mobile has raised their text message rate from 5 cents to 10 cents. I have already switched my sim cards back, so that all my text messages get sent to my Sidekick II.
Still, this sucks! If you are going to jack us on price, then at least let us cancel! What about SPAM text messages that I randomly get, well apparently I have to pay for those too.
I really hate certain things about T-Mobile. Tmobile Sucks!
