NewsGator sucks. I have been using it for a while now since the NetNewsWire purchase in hopes that syncronization will occur anytime now. Still waiting…
Previously I was using Bloglines and love it. I am going back.
I asked a question in the Support Forums yesterday about feed counts. It seems that certain feeds cap out at 10 messages or sometimes more. I click on it and only get 10 messages, but I know that feed is updated more than ten times within the lsat time I read it.
So now I find myself trying to read thru as quickly as possible so that I don’t miss anything. Well one of the forum admins replied that the older posts are avaliable under “older items”. Why should I have to refresh the whole page and then go thru the items I just read to find the ones I haven’t yet?
Bloglines never did anything like this. I am going to cleanup my subscriptions by reading them all up then I am taking my 950+ rss feeds and heading back to Bloglines.
Goodbye NewsGator…..improve your online edition, it sucks.

[...] I’ve posted for quite some time about my love for Bloglines (examples: 1, 2, 3, 4). I even tried NewsGator after NetNewsWire got bought by them, and they stunk. Google Reader was HORRIBLE under this new update. I have pretty much used every single web based RSS reader around. Until a few days ago, Bloglines was the best. [...]
